IN THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS

We are conveniently located on Highway 226 South just south of the town of Spruce Pine, North Carolina. We are at exit 331 of the Blue Ridge Parkway between Boone and Asheville next to the NC Museum of Minerals. Spruce Pine Gem Mine is close to attractions like Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Mount Mitchell State Park, and Roan Mountain.

From Asheville: 1 hour /   50.15 miles

Start out going SOUTHEAST on MARCELLUS ST toward US-25/MERRIMON AVE. Turn RIGHT onto US-25/MERRIMON AVE. Continue to follow US-25. Turn LEFT to take the US-74-ALT E/I-240 E/US-70 E ramp.Merge onto I-240 E.Merge onto I-40 E via the exit on the LEFT toward STATESVILLE. Take EXIT 81 toward MARION. Turn LEFT onto SUGAR HILL RD. SUGAR HILL RD becomes W HENDERSON ST. Turn RIGHT. Turn LEFT onto US-221/NC-226 Turn LEFT onto NC-226  Turn RIGHT to stay on NC-226.  Turn RIGHT to stay on NC-226.
