We have the areas largest collection of mineral specimens from local mines and from around the world. From MUSEUM QUALITY specimens for the collector to sample specimens for the youngest rockhound. In addition to mining for our own local gemstones and minerals, we have established relationships over many years with generation after generation of the mining families working the best gemstone deposits locally and around the world. We buy unsearched rough, minerals, and gemstones from these miners, cutting out the many "middle men" which increase prices. We have sources from many places in the United States and North Carolina, plus Canada, Brazil, Columbia, Bolivia, Argentina, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia, Mexico, China, India, Tanzania, Zaire, Thailand, The Dominican Republic and more.
